1 cup (2 sticks) butter
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 egg
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 325°F.

Mix first 5 ingredients, beating well. Mix flour and baking soda; add to creamed mixture. Stir in chips. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 325°F for 12 to 15 minutes.

Makes 4 1/2 dozen.
