FROSTED DELIGHTS 
1 1/2 c. cake flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Sift flour, salt and baking powder together. Cream butter with sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, vanilla and the sifted dry ingredients, mixing well. Spread batter thin on a greased baking sheet.

Topping:

1 1/2 c. brown sugar
3 egg whites, stiffly beaten
1 c. nuts, chopped

Fold brown sugar into the stiffly beaten egg whites. Spread evenly over cookie batter and sprinkle with chopped nuts. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes. Cut into squares.
