HAMBURGER SOUP 
1 lb. ground beef
1 c. chopped onion
1 c. cubed potatoes
1 c. sliced carrots
1/2 c. chopped celery
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
1/4 c. uncooked rice
4 beef bouillon cubes
1/4 c. barley
1 bay leaf (crushed)
1/2 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. basil
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 qts. water

Brown meat and onion. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer just until potatoes and carrots are tender, about 1 hour.

SQUEEZE BOTTLE NOODLES:

2 eggs, beaten
1 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. flour

Beat eggs, add milk, salt and flour. Mix well and pour into squeeze bottle and squeeze into soup. About 1/2 hour before serving I add 1/2 recipe of squeeze bottle noodles.
