CABBAGE LASAGNE 
1 med. cabbage, sliced
2 lbs. ground beef
1 med. onion, chopped
1 med. green pepper, chopped
1 (8 oz.) can tomato paste
2 bay leaves, crushed
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 (16 oz.) cheese slices

Cook cabbage in saucepan of water until tender. Drain, reserving 2 cups liquid. Brown beef, onion and green pepper in skillet, stirring frequently. Drain. Stir in tomato paste, bay leaves, salt, pepper, cabbage and water. In 9"x13" dish layer sauce, cabbage and cheese until all is used. Bake at 400 degrees until cheese is melted.
