BAKED SQUASH 
1 - 1 1/4 lb. squash
1 med. onion, chopped
2 slices bread, soaked in milk
1 egg, beaten slightly
2-3 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1 1/2 c. Sharp cheese, grated

Cook squash until tender and drain. Mash with butter, salt and pepper. Add slightly beaten egg, bread and onion; mix well. Pour half mixture in casserole dish and top with half of cheese. Add remaining mixture and top with remaining cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
