POTATO CHEESE CHOWDER 
1/2 c. sliced carrots
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped celery
2 tbsp. butter
2 c. peeled, cubed potatoes
3/4 c. cold water
1 (8 oz.) jar Cheez Whiz cheese spread

Place all ingredients except process cheese spread in 2 quart glass casserole. Microwave, covered on high 10 to 12 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Stir in process cheese spread until melted. Microwave, uncovered, on high stirring every minute, 2 to 3 minutes or until desired consistency. Serves 4.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
