POTATO CHEESE CHOWDER 
1/2 c. sliced carrots
1/2 c. chopped onions
1/4 c. chopped celery
2 tbsp. butter
2 c. peeled, cubed potatoes
3/4 c. cold water
1 (8 oz.) jar Cheez Whiz cheese spread

Place all ingredients except cheese spread in 2 quart glass casserole. Microwave covered, on high 10-12 minutes, or until vegetables are tender. Stir in cheese spread until melted. Microwave uncovered, on high stirring every minute, 2-3 minutes until desired consistency.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
