SUCCOTASH ITALIAN STYLE | |
2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen baby limas 2 slices bacon 1/2 c. onion, chopped 1/4 c. green pepper, chopped 1 jar Ragu Italian cooking sauce 1 1/2 tsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen whole kernel corn Cook lima beans according to package directions. Drain; set aside. Fry bacon. Remove and crumble. Saute onion and pepper in bacon drippings; stir in Ragu, sugar, and salt. Bring to boil and simmer 5 minutes. Add lima beans and corn. Cook gently 5 minutes. Sprinkle with bacon. Serves 10 to 12. |
