SUCCOTASH CHOWDER 
4 slices bacon
1/2 c. onion, chopped
1/2 c. celery, chopped
1/2 c. carrots, chopped
1 c. water
1 tsp. chicken fat
2 c. kernel corn
1 (10 oz.) pkg. lima beans
1/2 tsp. soy sauce
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. paprika
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/3 c. water
3 c. milk

In large saucepan, over medium heat, fry bacon until crisp, drain. Crumble and set aside. Add onion, celery and carrots to saucepan. Cook, stirring 2 to 3 minutes. Add next 8 ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, simmer 5 minutes until corn is tender. Combine flour and water. Stir in saucepan. Stir in milk. Cook, stirring until yield!
