CORN FRITTERS 
1 can corn (cream style, whole kernel, or directly off cob)
2 eggs
2 tbsp. melted lard
1 c. milk
1 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Combine corn, lard and eggs. Mix well. Sift dry ingredients. Mix dry ingredients into corn mixture alternately with milk. Beat well. Fry spoonfuls of dough in a little fat, just like pancakes.
