CORN FRITTERS 
1 c. Bisquick
1 egg
1 (16 oz.) can creamed corn
Dash salt

Fry on moderate heat in butter until each of them is golden brown. Turn only once.

This may be the recipe I've been looking for. It used creamed corn and either Jiffy or Bisquick mix (it was on the box many years ago) and was simple enough for a new bride to do well! I believe you may have had to separate the egg and fold in the beaten white. I'm anxious to see if its as good as, better than or 'Oh boy, has my memory gone out to lunch!' Thanks so much.
