PUFF CARAMEL CORN
1 (8 oz.) bag "Old Dutch Puff Corn Curls"
1/2 lb. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1 tsp. baking soda

Place corn puffs in a large roaster pan. In a 2 quart saucepan cook butter, brown sugar and corn syrup until it boils. Boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Add 1 teaspoon of soda and stir until mixture foams.

Pour caramel mixture over corn curls and stir until well mixed. Place in 250 degree oven for 45 minutes. Stir at least every 10 to 15 minutes. Remove from oven and pour on wax paper and break apart. Let cool. Helpful Hint: Don't make on a humid day for it will be sticky.

Fantastic recipe. If it is sticky, bake it a little longer next time. This recipe is also great on Bugles, Cheerios, Chex, you name it.

I also add vanilla to it as well but, after you pull it from the oven sprinkle it with course sea salt for an extra kick! It's wonderful!
