TUNA SHELL CASSEROLE | |
1 1/2 c. small macaroni shells 1 sm. sweet red pepper 1/4 c. thinly sliced celery 1 sm. onion, chopped 1 tsp. butter 1 can (3 1/2 oz.) tuna, drained and flaked 3/4 c. shredded cheddar cheese (3 oz.) 1 pkg. (9 oz.) frozen cut green beans, cooked without salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 c. low fat skim milk Cook macaroni following label omit salt. Cut 4 thin rings from pepper reserve chop and seed remainder. Saute with celery and onion in butter until tender. Combine macaroni, vegetables, tuna, cheese, green beans and pepper in lightly greased baking dish toss gently to mix. Pour in milk to cover. Bake in oven 400 degrees for 15 minutes until piping hot. Garnish with pepper rings. |
