GROUND BEEF GUMBO 
1 1/2 lb. ground lean beef
2/3 c. chopped onion
2/3 c. chopped celery
2/3 c. chopped green pepper
1 (15 oz.) can tomatoes, undrained
2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
1 (6 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
2 1/2 c. frozen okra, cut up or fresh
2 bay leaves
1 1/2 tbsp. dried parsley
2 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
1 1/2 tsp. dried basil
1 tsp. dried oregano
1 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. cumin
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 c. water
2 tbsp. dry red wine
Hot cooked rice

Cook ground beef, chopped onion, celery, green pepper in heavy pan over medium heat until meat is browned; drain. Stir in remaining ingredients except rice. Simmer uncovered for 1 hour. Remove bay leaves and serve over hot cooked rice. Easy.
