AUTUMN SOUP 
1 lb. ground beef
1 c. chopped onion
4 c. hot water
1 1/2 c. celery
1 1/2 c. cubed potatoes
3 tsp. salt (less if desired)
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 c. tomatoes (fresh from garden or canned)

Brown beef, add onions. Cook 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer 2 hours.
