PEACH MARMALADE CAKE 
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. fruit juice, drained from peaches
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 lg. can sliced peaches

Drain peaches, reserving juice to be used in batter. Line the bottom of greased 9"x9" baking pan with sliced peaches. Mix batter and spread out evenly over peaches. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until top is well browned.
