EGG NOG 
6 eggs
1/2 c. confectioners' sugar
1/4 c. confectioners' sugar
1 pt. milk
1 pt. cream
1 pt. whiskey
1 oz. rum

Separate eggs. Beat yolks, adding 1/2 cup sugar while beating. Beat whites until stiff, adding 1/4 cup sugar after beating. Fold whites into yolks. Stir in milk and cream and add whiskey and rum. Stir and chill. Serves 12 to 15.
