STEAK & POTATO CASSEROLE 
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cut round steak in servings and sear in skillet of hot grease. Place in casserole. Put pared potatoes (whole, unless large) on top of steak. Make milk gravy by stirring flour in hot grease. Brown it and add milk. When gravy thickens, add another 1/2 cup milk to thin it to pour over steak and potatoes. Cover. One hour baking time or until potatoes are done.

You will need to make a full skillet of gravy because it absorbs in the casserole as it bakes. When you pour it over potatoes work it down into the casserole so that the potatoes are covered and surrounded.
