TOSCA KAKE 
3 eggs
1 1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. melted butter
1 1/4 c. flour

Topping:
1 c. sliced almonds
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. milk
2 tbsp. flour

Beat eggs and sugar together until very thick. Fold in butter and flour. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. While cake is baking combine topping ingredients in a saucepan and boil gently until thick. Spread topping on cake and return to oven. Either broil or bake until topping bubbles and browns. Watch closely so that it does not burn.
