STOVE TOP STUFFING HOT DISH 
1 pkg. (single) Stove Top Stuffing
2 c. diced chicken (cooked)
1 c. cream of mushroom soup
1 sm. can water chestnuts (sliced)
1/2 c. sour cream
1/2 c. butter (not Miracle Whip)
1 c. mushrooms (optional)
1/4 c. melted butter
1-2 c. crumbs from stuffing mix

Mix stuffing as usual (make moist type). Put in 9x13 baking dish. Next layer chicken over stuffing. Add water chestnuts. Mix soup and sour cream, mayonnaise and mushrooms. Pour over chicken. Cover with crumbs and sprinkle butter over this. Bake 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Makes approximately 6 servings.
