7 LAYER SALAD | |
1/2 head iceberg lettuce 4 hard-boiled eggs, chopped 1 pound bacon, cooked crisp and chopped 1 10-ounce bag frozen peas (thawed) 1 cup grated Swiss or cheddar cheese 1 10-ounce bag fresh spinach 1 bunch green onions, chopped 2 tsp. sugar salt and pepper to taste Dressing: 1 1/2 cups sour cream 1 1/2 cups mayonnaise In a 9x13-inch serving dish, create 1st layer with all salad ingredients, sprinkle with half of sugar. Add salt and pepper and half of the grated cheese. Spread on one half of the dressing then repeat salad layer and top with remaining cheese and dressing, then serve. |
