SAVORY POT PIE 
1 1/3 c. diced raw potatoes
1 1/2 c. Vegetable Steak cut in bite-size pieces
1 lg. can mushrooms, save broth
1 can asparagus, save broth
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 tbsp. oil
2 tsp. Vegex or Savorex
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. McKays chicken seasoning
Pastry, whole wheat

Braise onion and mushrooms in oil. Add broth from mushrooms and asparagus and sufficient water to make 1 quart. Add seasonings and potatoes, cook until almost tender. Add cut asparagus. Fill individual baking dishes. Cover with pastry. Bake at 400 degrees until nicely browned. Serves 6-8.
