1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
3 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. sour milk
1 c. raisins, chopped and floured (optional)

Cream together sugar and butter. Sift together flour, soda, baking powder, cinnamon and nutmeg. Slowly add flour mixture to sugar and butter and blend. Alternately add the sour milk. Mix all ingredients well. Bake in greased and floured bundt pan or angel food cake pan at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes until toothpick inserted in it comes out clean.
