CUSTARDY RAISIN BREAD PUDDING 
6 thick slices raisin bread
2 c. milk, scalded
1 tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 tsp. cinnamon
Extra raisins (handful)
Ground cinnamon

Soak bread in scalded milk for 5 minutes. Add butter, salt, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Mix well. Pour into greased 1 1/2 quart casserole. Sprinkle lightly with cinnamon. Place casserole in pan of hot water on middle rack. Bake in 350 degree oven for 45 to 50 minutes or until center is firm. Serve warm. May be topped with whipped cream!
