2 c. shortening
4 c. brown sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. raisins
4 1/2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
4 c. old fashioned oats
1 c. chopped pecans

Cream together shortening, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla and raisins. Sift flour, baking soda and salt. Stir into creamed mixture. Add oats and pecans. Bake at 350 degrees until lightly brown.
