1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. cake flour
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Cream together butter, sugar and egg. Stir in salt, baking powder, cake flour and vanilla. Roll out to 1/8-inch and cut with cookie cutter.

Bake at 350°F until light brown, 8 to 10 minutes.
