1 loaf Sheep Herders bread or sour dough 2 tbsp. to 1/2 cube butter 1 bunch green onions, chopped 6 cloves garlic (med.), chopped - freeze to chop easier 1 pt. sour cream 12 oz. grated mild or sharp Cheddar cheese 1 (10 oz.) can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped (packed in water) Cut hole in bread to (5 inch in diameter) remove soft bread from inside. In 2 tablespoons butter saute green onion and garlic cloves until onions look wilted (DO NOT BURN). Cream the sour cream and grate cheese. Pour the butter, onions and garlic into the cheese mixture - fold in the artichoke hearts. Put all into the hollowed out bread and put the top on. |
