PIE A LA ITALIANA | |
1 (8 oz.) can Pillsbury crescent dinner rolls 1 (12 oz.) can Spam luncheon meat, cut into 1/2" cubes 1 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese 2 c. Monterey Jack or Italian cheese, cut into 1/2" cubes 1/8 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 2 eggs, slightly beaten Heat oven to 325 degrees. Separate crescent rolls into 8 triangles. Place 5 triangle in ungreased 8" or 9" pie pan, pressing over bottom and up sides of form crust. Reserve 3 triangles for top crust. Combine remaining ingredients in large bowl. Pour into crust. Roll out each remaining triangle so longest side is 8". Cut into 1/2" strips. Criss cross strips over filling to form a lattice top. Flute edge. Bake at 325 degrees for 55 to 65 minutes or until knife inserted 2" from edge comes out clean. Do not over bake. Serves 6. |
