BISCUITS SUPREME | |
2 c. flour 4 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar 2 tsp. sugar 1/2 c. shortening 2/3 c. milk Mix dry ingredients. Cut in shortening with pastry blender. Add milk slowly; mix by hand to small ball. Gently roll out dough on floured board to 3/4 inch thick. Cut with biscuit cutter. Place on baking sheet. Bake at 425 degrees for 10-12 minutes until golden brown. Serve hot. 6 people. |
