PECAN PIE 
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
Dash salt
1/2 c. syrup (Karo waffle - maple)
1 1/2 c. pecans, chopped

Butter pie shell. Pour nuts in shell before mixture. Mix up all other ingredients. Pour on top of nuts. Bake on 300 degrees for 45 minutes or until firm.
