CHOCOLATE SCOTCHEROOS | |
1 c. sugar 1 c. light corn syrup 1 c. peanut butter 6 c. Rice Krispies Combine sugar and syrup in large saucepan. Cook over moderate heat, stirring frequently until mixture begins to bubble. Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter; mix well. Add Rice Krispies. Press mixture into buttered pan (either 9x13 or cookie sheet). Melt 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate bits and 1 cup butterscotch bits and spread on top. Cool until firm. |
