FRUIT BARS 
1 c. butter, melted
1 3/4 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 can fruit pie filling (lemon, cherry, peach, etc.)

Combine melted butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla. Stir in dry ingredients. Spread all but 1 1/2 cups batter in a greased 10 x 15 inch jelly roll pan. Spoon pie filling on top in clumps. Do not spread or mix. Spoon the 1 1/2 cups batter over top of filling. Do not mix. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes until light golden. When cool, drizzle with a thin powdered sugar frosting.
