CHOW CHOW 
8 qt. coarsely chopped green tomatoes
1 qt. bell pepper (at least 1 red one), chopped
4 lg. onions, chopped
1 pt. vinegar
4 c. sugar
1 tbsp. celery seed
2 tsp. turmeric

Mix all ingredients together and bring to a boil. Lower heat and cook for 1 hour can.
