CHOW CHOW 
1 qt. cabbage, chopped
1 pt. tomatoes, chopped
1/2 pt. onions, chopped
1/4 pt. peppers, red or green
2 c. water
1 c. vinegar
1 c. sugar
Spices for pickling

Put cabbage, tomatoes, onions and peppers in container and sprinkle with salt. Let set. Drain. Add water, vinegar, sugar and spices. Boil 5 to 10 minutes. Seal in jars.
