SPRINGERLE CHRISTMAS COOKIES | |
4 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 4 eggs 1 lb. powdered sugar 1 tsp. crushed anise 1. Beat eggs 5 minutes. 2. Mix ingredients. 3. Roll (preferably with sprinkle rolling pin) to 1/4-1/8 inch thick. 4. Let dry overnight. 5. Cut into squares 2 x 2 inches. 6. Grease cookie sheets and sprinkle with whole anise seeds. 7. Bake at 325 degrees for 12 minutes or until lightly browned. |
