1 1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract
4 c. all purpose flour, sifted
1 tsp. baking powder

Thoroughly cream butter and sugar. Add egg, milk, vanilla and almond extract; beat well. Sift flour and baking powder, add gradually to creamed mixture, mixing to a smooth dough. Do not chill. Force dough through a cookie press onto an ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake in oven at 400°F for 8 minutes and cool.

Makes 6 dozen.
