1/2 lb. butter
1 egg yolk, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. brown sugar
2 c. bread flour or 2 1/2 c. cake flour

Press down on greased sheet pan very thin. Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees. While cookies bake melt 1 large package chocolate chips in double boiler (do not stir). Remove cookies from oven. Pour melted chocolate over cookies. Spread evenly and sprinkle with chopped nuts. Cut into squares. Can melt chocolate chips on medium-low 5 to 6 minutes. On low 4 to 5 minutes, uncovered.
