CRANBERRY RELISH 
1 lb. fresh cranberries
2 peeled and chopped seedless oranges
1/4 tsp. whole cloves
1 c. water
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. crushed pineapple
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Cinnamon

Bring water and sugar to a boil. Add cranberries, oranges and cloves. Cook on high flame until cranberries pop open. Remove from heat and add the pineapple, walnuts and cinnamon. Mix ingredients and refrigerate.

I like the sound of this recipe, and I make a similar one. Just a word of caution. You might want to put the whole cloves in a tea strainer, then remove them after cooking. Crunching down on a clove can be heck on dental work!
