WALNUT FUDGE BROWNIES 
1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/8 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter or reg. butter, softened
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 sq. unsweetened chocolate, melted
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. coarsely chopped walnuts

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Lightly grease 8 x 8 x 2 inch baking pan. Sift flour, baking powder and salt. In small bowl of electric mixer, at medium speed, beat butter, sugar and eggs until mixture is light and fluffy. Beat in melted chocolate and vanilla. At low speed, blend in flour mixture. Fold in chopped walnuts.

Spread evenly in prepared pan. Bake 30 minutes. Cool 10 minutes. With sharp knife, cut into squares. Let cool completely in pan. Makes 16. Sift before measuring.
