PEANUT BRITTLE 
2 c. sugar
1 c. white Karo
2 tbsp. water
1/4 tsp. salt
1 lb. RAW peanuts
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. baking soda
Well-greased cookie sheet, Teflon, or sprayed with Pam

Put ingredients into a deep kettle and bring to a boil. Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture turns a light golden brown, a temperature of 290 degrees. Take off heat; add butter and mix well. Then add soda and mix thoroughly. Dump on to cookie sheet, spread and let cool. THIS HAS TO BE THE WORLD'S GREATEST PEANUT BRITTLE!!
