PINEAPPLE CAKE 
1 (18 oz.) box cake
2 c. sugar
1 c. water
1 (15 oz.) can pineapple
4 tbsp. corn starch
1 tbsp. vanilla flavoring
1/2 stick butter

Mix cake mix according to directions on box. Bake in 3 layers.

Mix sugar and water in a sauce pan. Cook until mixed well. Add pineapple, let come to boiling point. Add corn starch, butter and vanilla until it thickens enough to spread on cake.
