GREEN BEANS WITH BACON AND
MAYONNAISE
 
2 cans green beans
4 strips bacon
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/3 c. mayonnaise
3 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste

Heat beans and drain. Fry bacon until crisp. Drain well and cut into small pieces. Saute onion in bacon grease; drain well. Mix mayonnaise, sugar and vinegar together and pour over drained hot beans. Add the bacon and onions. Add salt and pepper. Toss lightly. Keep warm until served.
