6 lb. tart apples 6 c. cider or juice 3 c. sugar 2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. cloves Core and quarter apples, put in 4-6 quart kettle and combine with cider or juice. Cook until soft, 30 minutes. Add sugar and spices, cook and stir over low heat until sugar dissolves. Boil gently until desired thickness. Put in hot jars and seal. |
