BROWN BAG APPLE PIE 
1 (9-inch) pie shell
7 c. apples
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
1 stick butter

FILLING:

Mix 7 cups baking apples, sliced, with 2 tablespoons lemon juice. Mix in 1/2 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons flour and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Pour into unbaked pie shell.

TOPPING:

Mix 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup flour and 1 stick of softened butter. Crumble topping on top of apple mixture for top crust.

Slide pie into brown paper grocery bag and seal with paper clips. Bake at 425 degrees for 1 hour. Paper bag may smell like it is burning, but it will be alright.
