APPLE CRUNCH 
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. Wondra granulated flour
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
3 med. apples, peeled, cored and cut into 1/8 inch slices
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. Quaker 100% natural cereal
2 tbsp. butter
Vanilla ice cream

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease casserole with 1 tablespoon butter. Mix sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg, in large bowl. Prepare apples and stir into flour mixture. Sprinkle apples with lemon juice and stir again. Add cereal and mix gently. Add apple mixture to casserole and dot top with remaining butter. Bake, covered for 15 minutes. Remove cover and bake 5 minutes more. Serve topped with ice cream. Cover and refrigerate leftovers. Fast and easy. Serves 4.
