ZESTY MEATBALLS WITH SAUERKRAUT
AND CRANBERRIES
 
2 lb. ground chuck (be sure to use less fatty hamburger)
2 c. soda cracker, crushed
1 env. Lipton onion soup mix
3 eggs

Mix above ingredients together, form into meatballs and put in a 9 by 13 pan to bake.

SAUCE:

12 oz. bottle chili sauce
12 oz. water (use empty chili sauce bottle to measure)
1 c. sauerkraut
1 can whole berry cranberry sauce
1 c. brown sugar

Simmer above mixture approximately 5 minutes; pour over meatballs and bake UNCOVERED for 2 hours at 350°F.
