1 pkg. (8 oz.) fine noodles 2 c. chopped onion (cut way back) 1 lb. ground pork or sausage meat 2 cans tomato soup undiluted Brown onions very lightly in frying pan in butter or shortening until just a light gold brown. Add meat and mix well. (Break it up and let it cook over low heat for a few minutes.) Then push it to side of pan and draw off the grease. Cook noodles as directed on package; drain and add with tomato soup to onions and meat. Season to taste. Turn into greased baking dish. Sprinkle bread crumbs and grated sharp Cheddar cheese on top. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour. |
