12 PIE CRUSTS 
10 c. unsifted flour (to start)
5 c. lard
2 scant tbsp. salt
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/3 c. sugar
3 eggs
3 tbsp. vinegar

Sift dry ingredients together. Cut in lard. Beat eggs and let stand for foam to come to top, then add enough water to make 2 1/2 cups liquid. Add vinegar. Add liquid to flour mixture and mix just until blended. Do not knead. Add more flour, if necessary. Chill before rolling.
