ORANGE-PECAN LOAF 
2/3 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter
2 large eggs
2 c. unsifted flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
Dash nutmeg
1 c. pineapple-orange juice
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2/3 c. chopped pecans or walnuts

Cream sugar, butter and eggs. Mix flour, baking powder and nutmeg in a bowl. Mix juice and vanilla in container. Alternately combine juice and flour with creamed mixture. Add nuts. Bake in loaf pans for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
