POTATO BISQUE SOUP | |
1 lb. Italian sausage (sliced) 1/2 c. chopped onion 2 (1 lb.) cans tomatoes 4 potatoes (pared and sliced) 6 cups 1/4 c. parsley 1 bay leaf 1 tbsp. salt 1 c. diagonally sliced carrots 2 tbsp. chopped celery 1 1/2 c. water 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 beef bouillon cubes 1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves 1 tbsp. lemon juice In large saucepan brown sausage. Add onion and cook 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients. I put everything in the crockpot after the browned sausage and cook all day on low. Last hour on high to cook potatoes. |
